Hi, I’m Linsey Bell. It’s a pleasure to meet you!
I was born and raised in Toronto, and have also had the opportunity to live, dine and learn in various parts of the world. I’ve always enjoyed cooking for myself and entertaining. I am happiest when in the process of creating, whether it’s luscious, edible masterpieces to share with others at a special event/dinner or making a whimsical themed children’s celebration cake. There is nothing that I would rather do than share this passion with others.
My formal training began at Creative Cutters where I learned the art of cake design and decoration. I then attended George Brown College where I graduated from the Pastry Arts Management program as a Pastry Chef. After school, I traveled abroad to develop my palate and further my culinary skills. In Spain, France and Italy, I immersed myself in the wine and food culture of Europe, took culinary classes and reveled in the art of making (and drinking) wine.
I have been in the food industry for over fourteen years and have had the opportunity to work with some of the top chefs in North America at The Four Seasons Hotel, Rahier Patisserie, Marc Theut’s Bite Me and other fine dining venues throughout Toronto. As a food stylist, my work experience includes commercials, print ads and magazines with top tier clients throughout North America. Recently I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned food photographer Rob Davidson to share our recipes and passion for food in our food blog @ www.epicureinlight.com.
I look forward to working with you to create a gorgeous, edible masterpiece.
